The global expertise of our members and in-house technical and management expertise allows ACCA Singapore to provide informed opinions on a wide range of issues covering financial, regulatory, public sector and business areas. These issues include education, taxation, small business, business and company law, corporate governance and transparency, financial reporting, corporate social responsibility and issues relating to the accounting profession in Singapore .
ACCA Singapore's key priorities include building productive links with the Government and its agencies and influencing policy development in the public interest. We also conduct research, comment on major areas of public policy and provide relevant agencies with an insight into factors that impact on businesses and individuals; along with informed reaction to prospective or pending legislation. We respond to relevant consultation and discussion papers on a variety of issues on a regular basis.
ACCA Singapore has a strong media presence and is frequently sought after by the media for comments on various issues. A high volume of both ad hoc and periodic articles and comments are published in the main dailies and leading business publications, with a view to influencing public policy in the public interest.
