On 5 October 2007, ACCA Ireland hosted their Autumn lunch based on the theme of Professionalism and ethics.
Gary McGann, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Smurfit Kappa Group plc (SKG) gave the keynote speech to members on the issue of professionalism and ethics. Brendan Murtagh FCCA, Partner at LHM Casey McGrath and ACCA Vice President introduced the guest speaker, facilitated discussions and also delivered a speech about the relevance of ethics for the accountancy profession.
Thomas Stone FCCA, President ACCA Leinster Members' Network and Vincent Mulvey FCCA, Chairperson ACCA Financial Services Network co-hosted the event.
Over 130 members and guests attended the lunch at the Conrad Hotel in Dublin.
